Field Repair with Goop |
| I first used Goop almost 15 years ago when I was trying to glue a floor into a screen tent for summer camping. Nothing else would adhere to the slick surfaces of the tent and tarp, and I was ready to give up when I noticed Goop and decided to give the project one more try. Since then I've used it on shoes, cloth, all types of plastic, and even as an electrical insulator. Because it is an adhesive you can separate the surfaces, which makes it doubly useful for temporary repairs, though eventually heat will harden it. I just wish it came in a bigger tube. |
